I am incredibly proud to be the Headteacher of Dinnington High School. Dinnington is a vibrant and inclusive school that serves the town of Dinnington and many surrounding villages; we are home to the hardest working children in Rotherham.
It is my firm belief that Dinnington will be one of the best schools in South Yorkshire and this will be achieved by continuing to build on our strong relationships with our parents and carers, the high expectations that we insist on from our students and the dedication and hard work of our teachers; a combination that is unbeatable.
Our core values of respect, responsibility and resilience are embedded in everything that we do at Dinnington High School and we nurture and teach these from Year 7. Every staff member at Dinnington High School is child centered, and we have an unwavering commitment to put our students at the heart of everything we do. Our aim for all of our students is to leave Dinnington both well qualified, but also well-rounded individuals who can thrive and take their place in society.
As well as a knowledge rich and engaging subject curriculum, we pride ourselves on offering a well-rounded and interesting enrichment offer. All of our curriculum areas choose well thought out trips and visits as well as inviting in high quality guest speakers who can enrich their curriculum further. All students also have access to wide range of after school clubs.
